The Path to Zero – A Vision for Decarbonised Transport in Asia (Indonesian, non-technical summary)

Overcoming Blind Spots and Enabling Change

To achieve the goal of zero-carbon transport by mid-century, the Council for Decarbonising Transport in Asia developed six foundational principles, six enablers for change and six strategies to address the key blind spots which they have identified in the sector.

The report is structured into the following chapters:

  • What is needed to get to zero-carbon transport

  • Enabling transformation

NDC Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC-TIA) is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) supports this initiative on the basis of a decision adopted by the German Bundestag. It supports China, India, and Viet Nam as well as regional and global decarbonisation strategies to increase the ambition around low-carbon transport.
