This infographic illustrates the measures Germany has implemented over the past decades to enhance road safety. The measures are grouped into five categories: infrastructure-related interventions, organisational improvements, vehicle-level measures, emergency medical services, and user-related actions. Experts from the University of Wuppertal and BASt contributed their knowledge and experience to the development of this graphic. It is available in several languages, with the English version being the most up-to-date.
