Position:
Advisor Energy
Location:
India, New Delhi
I currently work as an Energy Advisor at GIZ India, under NDC-TIA project and E-Mobility project, supporting the transformation of India’s electric mobility landscape. My focus is on areas I’m deeply passionate about— grid integration, smart and renewable-based EV charging infrastructure, battery reuse and circularity, V2G/grid integration, carbon finance and climate finance. These may sound technical, but for me, they all connect to one thing: making clean transport work on the ground, not just on paper.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to work closely with the Ministry of Heavy Industries, NITI Aayog, and several state and city governments to shape India’s EV charging roadmap under the Vision 2047 agenda. I’ve also been part of pioneering efforts in carbon financing for e-buses and developing policy and technical tools to support a faster and more equitable clean transport transition.
Before joining GIZ, I worked in the energy sector, diving deep into energy modeling, renewables, and decarbonization strategies. My academic journey at IIT Bombay under Energy System and Engineering, gave me a solid foundation, but it’s the on-ground collaboration with cities, ministries, and passionate teams that continues to shape my understanding of what meaningful climate action can look like.
