Position:
Transport and Infrastructure Advisor
Location:
Kenya, Nairobi
Living and working in Nairobi means I experience the day-to-day mobility challenges, especially as a woman, a scenario which is common in many cities around the world. From this perspective, I enjoy my work because it provides me with the opportunity to actively contribute towards innovative mobility solutions for my city.
With a Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation and a bachelor’s degree in development studies, I advise project teams and respective implementing partners including those in public and private sector to co-create projects and properly track activities during implementation. Every inspiring solution gets us closer to addressing mobility challenges. My mantra while working with teams:
It is dangerous to assume what has been decided will be achieved, or that what happens is what was intended.
