The project promotes the implementation of sustainable and inclusive urban mobility infrastructure solutions in Mexican cities to enhance the reduction of GHG emissions and improve the access to public transport alternatives.
The project works on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with the Mexican Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development (SEDATU) and the states of Quintana Roo, Puebla and Estado de Mexico, as well as partners from the private sector, civil society, and academia, among other organizations
MOVERSE seeks to develop solutions at national and subnational levels and works in three components:
