Webinar: Defossilising Aviation with e-SAF
Time: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM (Europe/Berlin)
Location: Online on zoom
This webinar, hosted by the International PtX Hub, will explore the future of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), with a special focus on e-SAF. As air traffic is projected to grow significantly over the next two decades, transitioning to SAF is essential to meet the aviation sector’s net-zero emissions goal by 2050. The event will cover the technology behind e-SAF, the required policy frameworks, and emerging market conditions.
Experts will present a new publication on e-SAF, addressing fuel properties, production pathways, costs, and availability. The webinar will also discuss supportive policies at both national and international levels and share case studies from Brazil and Kenya, highlighting their ambitious plans to scale up SAF production. The session will conclude with a panel discussion and Q&A, providing a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and challenges in defossilising aviation.
