International Conference on Sustainable Mobility and Climate 2026

The CODATU Association, the Urban Mobility Authority of Greater Abidjan (AMUGA), and the Climate Chance Association are organizing the International Conference on Sustainable Mobility and Climate (CIMDC2026) to build on the momentum from the Sustainable Mobility and Climate Week held in Dakar in 2022. The event will bring together African and international non-state stakeholders to share concrete solutions and strengthen cooperation in support of sustainable, inclusive and locally adapted mobility systems.
The programme will include the 19th CODATU Scientific Conference, plenary sessions, workshops and a Pitch Corner, structured around thematic pillars such as integrated urban mobility planning, governance, financing, technology and social innovations and sustainability of transport planning. The conference will conclude with the adoption of the Abidjan Declaration, highlighting key messages and priorities of non-state actors on sustainable mobility and climate action.
