The 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) will take place in Belém, Brazil. The event will bring together representatives from nearly 200 countries to discuss key actions on climate change, including emission reductions, climate finance, and adaptation strategies. A special Leaders Summit will be held on 6–7 November ahead of the main conference.

This year’s COP is especially significant as it will be hosted in the Amazon region. Brazil plans to highlight the importance of protecting forests and promoting nature-based solutions. The event will also focus on sustainable development, energy transition, and strengthening global cooperation to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement.
