3 March 2022

Time: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM (Europe/Berlin)
Location: MS Teams

Imagine living in a city where there are more pedestrians and cyclists than cars. A city that allows you and your friends to have easier and safer access to school, the park, or the mall. Imagine a city that puts you, your future, and protecting the environment at the core of its policies.

Are you interested to know how we can improve urban mobility to achieve #CitiesForUs?

On 3rd March 2022, 3:00pm – 4:30pm, GIZ, supported by the International Climate Initiative (IKI), and together with the Department of Transportation of the Philippines (DOTr) and the National Economic and Development Authority of the Philippines (NEDA), will present how our urban mobility can serve us better.

The webinar will include an overview of our urban transport system, presentations on the National Transport Policy and the Philippine Urban Mobility Programme (which proposes measures to build sustainable urban transport systems), and updates on the strides we have made for active transport modes during this pandemic.

We invite you to have a discussion with us about the transforming our cities, sustainably. If you would like to read more about our work and Philippine Urban Mobility Programme (PUMP) please click here.
