As part of the Mobility and Cities Team in the Green Transformation Cluster at GIZ East Asia, I focus on the sustainable development of freight transport in Asia through evidence-based knowledge sharing, policy dialogue, capacity building and gender-responsive approaches. Previously, I focused on mobility transition in urban areas through experimentation, while also promoting mobility justice by fostering the inclusion of underrepresented groups in participatory change processes.
Currently, my work focuses on the decarbonisation of urban freight transport by fostering intermodal transport, vehicle electrification so as policies and exchanges which promote sustainable freight transport. Another key focus is strengthening the role of woman in freight transport by promoting gender-responsive policies and infrastructure, increasing women’s participation and leadership, contributing to a more inclusive transport system.
