I work as Urban Sustainable Mobility Advisor at GIZ in Costa Rica. I have more than 15 years of experience in sustainable development, transport and urban mobility project management. I have had a key role in the management of high-impact projects in the transport sector, in Costa Rica and the Latin American region, which has allowed me to learn first-hand about the challenges and opportunities of the sector in order to develop innovative sustainable mobility initiatives and for the promotion of electromobility.
I have extensive knowledge of sectoral transport policies in LAC, as well as institutional management and governance at the national and municipal levels in terms of urban mobility and transport infrastructure. I have experience in implementing the best management practices for projects financed by the bilateral and multilaterals organizations.
I am passionate about the incorporation of cross-cutting issues in the transport sector, I have participated in several initiatives for the incorporation of women in the sector, such as Women Bus Drivers, decent work in transport infrastructure projects for women and prevention of harassment and violence in public transport.
My goal is to support initiatives that promote fair and efficient transportation that connects everyone.
