I am the Coordinator for MobiliseYourCity, a global partnership for sustainable transport policy and finance. Even before knowing the term ‘development cooperation’ I was asking questions about why the everyday lives of people can be so different depending on where they were born. As an American kid who spent summers in India, I experienced this difference on a regular basis. My interest in global inequality and social justice led to a career in development – and since 2008 I have been working at intersection of climate change and project finance in Germany, India, Philippines, Vietnam and now Belgium. Before MobiliseYourCity, I was an Urban Development Specialist at the Asian Development Bank. As an economist, I’m interested in money. As a urbanist and a father, I’m passionate about doing my part in making cities wonderful places to grow up.
