Neimy Girón

Neimy Girón is a knowledge management advisor for the German Development Cooperation’s Transition to an Integrated and Intelligent Public Transport System (TranSIT) project in Mexico, and is also responsible for the gender theme for the cities and sustainable transport projects.

She has 8 years of experience at GIZ, 7 of which were spent in the energy sector on renewable energy and energy efficiency projects as a communications and gender officer for Central America, Belize, and the Dominican Republic. Between 2010 and 2015, she also worked as a content editor and journalist in the political, national, and judicial sections for two print media outlets in El Salvador. She holds a degree in journalism from the University of El Salvador in Central America.
