Neetu Anna Joseph is a Civil Engineer and Transport Planner with over a decade of experience in urban mobility planning, specializing in Non-Motorized Transport (NMT), Comprehensive Mobility Plans, first- and last-mile connectivity, Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), and Land Value Capture mechanisms. She has played a key role in shaping TOD strategies for cities such as Kochi, Pune, Nagpur, the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, integrating innovative financing strategies to support sustainable urban growth.
Her work extends to pioneering projects like India’s first Water Metro, enhancing multimodal connectivity, and Asia’s first Mobility Living Lab, fostering innovation in urban transport. Holding a Master’s degree in Transport Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Neetu has collaborated with government agencies, international organizations, and urban development bodies to implement large-scale mobility solutions. Passionate about designing cities that prioritize people over vehicles, she believes that well-planned mobility networks can create more inclusive, vibrant, and livable urban spaces.
