My name is Michael Schuster and I am the Team Lead Sustainable Mobility at GIZ Kenya and Director of the Promotion of Electric Mobility Project.

Being a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in international development cooperation in the transport sector, including in China, South Africa and Kenya, I am current working to advance Kenya’s sustainable development goals through innovation in enabling frameworks, charging infrastructure and grid integration as well as battery circularity and local value creation. I used to study Transport Economics and Engineering at the University of Dresden, Germany, and graduated in Business Engineering.
