Lead Advisor on Sustainable Urban Mobility
Based in Mexico City, Mexico
I am coordinating the mobility component of the project Cities & Climate Change (CiClim) at GIZ Mexico, where we work with five cities and the federal level. From 2013-2017, I engaged as part of the transport & mobility team at GIZ headquarters in Germany. Before that, I had the chance to accompany the development of the first cycling paths in the city of Lviv (Ukraine) and to investigate the financial, regulatory and practical challenges of urban public transport in Ukrainian cities.
As graduated transport economist of the Technical University of Dresden, I consider wrong price signals in the transport sector an essential barrier for the development of high-quality transport infrastructure and services. We only will tackle climate change if we get the prices right!
