I am an Electrical Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and hold a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh. I have more than six years of experience in the energy sector, specialising in renewable energy, energy transition, and electromobility, with a focus on regulation, public policy, and project management.
I currently work as Regional Advisor in Renewable Energy at GIZ and as Country Coordinator of the E-Motion programme in the Dominican Republic. In this role, I lead the implementation of clean energy and electromobility initiatives in the Caribbean, providing technical assistance to governments, regulators, electricity companies, and regional organisations, and supporting the development of projects, regulatory frameworks, and technical studies to drive a sustainable energy transition in the region.
