, Rumiñahui
I’m an economist with a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from FLACSO Ecuador, and I’ve spent over a decade working at the intersection of sustainable mobility, public policy, and climate change. My experience spans the public and private sectors, academia, and international cooperation, always with a strong commitment to equity and inclusive urban development.
At GIZ, I currently support the MoVer – Green Urban Mobility in Cities project in Rumiñahui, Ecuador, where I work with local governments to strengthen sustainable mobility strategies. My focus includes integrating gender and intersectional perspectives into transport planning, as well as advancing electric mobility and sustainable urban logistics.
Previously, I coordinated the SOLUTIONSplus project in Quito for UEMI, advised on gender-sensitive e-mobility with E-MOVILIZA, and led last-mile logistics initiatives at the Quito Environment Secretariat. I also contributed to urban mobility research at the City Institute Corporation and participated in the Urban Women Leaders Program led by Women in Motion and Women Mobilize Women initiative in 2022.
