I am a mechanical engineer with more than 13 years of experience in the energy sector, working across Latin America, Africa, and Asia on projects related to energy transition, sustainable mobility, green hydrogen, and renewable energy. I have collaborated with multilateral organisations such as GIZ, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the United Nations Environment Programme, as well as with various private companies and consultancy firms, leading technical and financial feasibility studies, strategic planning processes, and project development initiatives.
Currently, I am working as a Technical Advisor at GIZ for the E-Motion programme in Costa Rica, supporting the implementation of the country’s technical assistance component. My role includes coordination with public institutions and key stakeholders, identification of barriers and opportunities for public transport electrification, and providing technical support on regulatory, financial, and planning matters to accelerate low-carbon mobility.
