Andrea Cárdenas is a transport advisor for the TranSIT project of the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in Mexico.
She has 13 years of experience in consulting on transport and mobility planning projects in Mexico and Latin America. She was also a project leader for the Federal Program for Support to Mass Transport (PROTRAM) at the National Infrastructure Fund (FONADIN) for two years. She has worked on multiple road, railway, and mass public transport projects. She is an economist and specialist in socio-economic evaluation. She studied a Master’s degree in Analysis of Economic and Social Policy at the University of York, England.
