Alejandra has a degree in Earth Sciences with a focus on Environmental Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of the UNAM. She has worked on research projects in biological conservation and environmental monitoring, with an emphasis on pollutants and geochemical markers in various environmental matrices. She was a collaborator of the Climate Change Research Program of the UNAM (2024-2025) and the Global CitiesAdapt project (2025) of the German Technical Cooperation (GIZ) Mexico on issues of Green Infrastructure and Adaptation to Climate Change.
