This report is a knowledge product developed under the Promotion of Transformation to Sustainable and Climate-friendly E-mobility initiative. It outlines a comprehensive digital solution aimed at streamlining and strengthening Surat’s electric mobility ecosystem.
The study assesses the current EVolute Surat app and explores potential enhancements through the integration of features such as real-time charger availability, booking, payment systems, route planning, and personalised user dashboards.
The objective is to support city authorities in making data-driven decisions using real-time analytics, while also aiding DISCOMs with tools for dynamic tariff setting, load forecasting, and renewable energy integration.
It is designed to provide seamless integration with SMC app to maximise the outreach and improve user experience. The report presents the ‘One EV App’, an advanced digital integration solution by the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
