The brochure „Reverse Innovation – Rethinking Urban Transport through Global Learning“ looks into the potential of innovation and global learning in the urban transport sector. It includes ten interesting innovations from developing- and emerging countries were selected, that offer relevant impulses for cities and towns in Germany. Alongside technical innovations, social, regulatory and business model innovations were considered.
The brochure was jointly developed by GIZ and the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (Umweltbundesamt, UBA) All innovations can help the UBA vision of Tomorrow’s Cities become reality.
