In this online seminar series by GIZ’s SMART-SUT project in India, industry experts share their experiences and insights on EV policies, current practices, national and international case studies, and lessons learned during E-bus adoption. The seminars focus on case studies from different world regions as well as on the relevance and possibilities of electric buses and smart planning, scheduling and charging of electric buses.
The first online seminar focuses on the need and overall benefits of electric buses in India, different components, battery models and charging options as well as on different operation models and leading technology providers of electric buses.

The last online seminar of e-Mobilogues had global experts sharing their experiences and case studies from South Asia and Latin America with a discussion on improving the overall adoption and integration of e-Buses. The discussion among others focused on supportive policies that can enable a smooth transition of electric bus fleets in public transport and how a planned training and capacity building can improve the utilization of electric buses and the overall ROI.
