As a Colombian Civil Engineer with experience working on projects related to the planning and development of mobility systems in cities, I have become acutely aware of the crucial role that transportation plays in the growth and behaviour of societies and cities.
After 6 years of working in the sector mainly in Latin American cities, I have also realised the importance of public policies in promoting sustainability and responsible development, reason why a year ago I decided to pursue a Master of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt.
Now I am joining the Global Expertise Circle at GIZ as an intern to contribute to a more sustainable future through mobility practices and policies that are reflective of improving people’s living conditions.
