My story with sustainable transport began when I obtained my degree in automotive engineering in Fes and did my Phd thesis on the topic of electric vehicles as part of a GIZ project for the Research Institute of Solar Energy and New Energies in Morocco. So I’ve been part of the GIZ family for a while! Having spent 4 years as a project manager for electric vehicles and smart grids at the institute, I have acquired a solid experience and boundless enthusiasm for sustainable mobility, and I am delighted to have joined the GIZ team and the energy sector.
After working in R&D to promote sustainable transport solution for Morocco, it is time for me to take a step forward and, through TraCS, contribute to the development of concrete actions to reduce GHG emissions and decarbonise the Moroccan transport sector.
