Project Officer
Based in Marshall Islands (RMI)
I am from the Marshall Islands, low lying Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I grew up in the era where everyone was advocating climate change, due to sea level rising and frequent inundation affecting my homeland. Such firsthand experiences have caused me to be very concerned about climate change and the livelihood security of my island and people. Such passion has led me to attend Robert Bosch College in Germany in a program called United World College. Their motto is, “Making Education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future”. Coming back to the Marshall Islands and learning that there’s a project focusing on lowering the emissions of GHG, I knew I wanted to work with them.
I am new to this project and have been working for almost a year. I can say that it is a great opportunity to help out RMI as it is my home.
