Based in Mexico City
Ana Alcántara is a Technical Advisor for EUROCLIMA+ Urban Mobility Component at GIZ Mexico. She monitors the planning and execution of the pilot project of electric trycicles in San Juan Comalapa, Guatemala and provides technical assistance to the Federation of Latin-American Cities, Municipalities and Associations of Local Governments (FLACMA) in the conceptual and organizational development of the Urban Mobility Component’s Community of Practice.
Previously she worked at the World Resources Institute Mexico in the field of Mobility Economics and Public Policies of Transport.
Ana has participated in projects in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. She is an architect from the Institute of Technology and Higher Education of Monterrey and holds a master’s degree in Urban Management from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
