Leon Becker is a transport advisor for the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in Mexico, where he collaborates on the Transition to an Integrated and Intelligent Public Transport System in Mexico (TranSIT) project, which aims to reduce emissions in public transport.
Since 2017, he has been working on international cooperation projects with a focus on climate change mitigation and digital transformation. He has worked on both global and bilateral projects, mainly in Southeast Asia and Latin America. He is a mechanical engineer with a Master’s degree in renewable energy management.
